Hello dear readers! It was a long time since I wrote that and it feels good to do it again. As you might have read on my twitter, I have decided to put up one post a week. Because I don’t wont to think of it like a chore. I want to like it, so do it for fun again. Hopefully, this is the way to go.

So the post I want to have as my ”comeback” is a post about my recent favorite reads.

Enjoy!

This one…THIS ONE! I have waited on this book since the first book in this series.
It’s not just the phenoixes that make this book one of the years greatest. The characters are a very big part of why I have that opinion.
I do love the girl who is the long lost something. And the girl in this one is a good one. She has a big heart and maybe even bigger bravery.

The conclusion to the Truly Devious trilogy. I had the highest of hopes for this one. I was not let down.
I loved that I actually couldn’t guess the person how was behind it all and that is not something I usually feel. But here, it was just like it should.

”Anxiety does not ask your permission. Anxiety does not come when expected. It’s very rude. It barges in at the strangest moments, stopping all activity, focusing everything on itself. It sucks the air out of your lungs and scrambles the world”

I have tried to read Spinning Silver by her before, but I just couldn’t get into it. But this one was another thing.
It had magic and the way it was told just made it more magical. It has that old fairy tale vibe to it and I am impressed bu how she puts the reader right there in the story. I could basically see The dragons tower when I read.
I found the idea with the forest so unique. It was just magical. The whole thing was magical.

I have been a little scared to read Ninth House, but this one felt like a much softer version and without the fantasy. I don’t know if that is the truth as I haven’t read Ninth House, but that is why I chose this book.
But, with that said, I loved this one. The only thing that wasn’t to my liking was the way the love interest in this book was a bit (read super) douch to all other girls except to the MC.
I want kindness to be cool. I think kindness is cool.
Anyhow, it had mystery, love and it gave the chills.

I fell head over heals with her Seven Realms series and I could not wait to dive in the next one. And this was the first book in the series that take place after her Seven Realms series.
It made my heart bleed a little with all the old characters and it was so nice to meet them again. And the new once! I found a new favorite in this book. Also, the thing that happens in the end of this. Darn.
