Hello dear readers!

We have just under two month left of this year and I want to be able to make some lists of the books I have read. I didn’t do it last year, but this year I want to at least try to get it all together. So I will start with the ”bad” once first. This opinions are obviously just mine and it is just a good thing if any of you enjoyed them! We all have different opinions and I don’t mean any disrespect by stating mine. With that said, let’s get this post started!

Twas the nightshift before christmas – Adam kay

I want to start by saying that I loved his first book This is going to hurt and I was so pumped about this one. I put all of my other audio books on hold the day before this was released and…was very disappointed by the whole thing. I didn’t find that ”kind but yet funny but sorta sad and serious a times” kind of vibe in this one and I think that was the reason it didn’t work out for me.

Now entering addamsville – Francesca Zappia

Earlier this year I sat down and read the book I have heard so much about, Eliza and her monsters, and I loved it so very much. It had me in tears and it had me laughing. So when I heard that the author was coming out with a new book and soon, I was more than exited. I loved the way Zappia wrote Eliza and her monsters, but I felt like I was lacking that in this one. Maybe it was because the story didn’t grip me as he one in Eliza and her monsters did, but I couldn’t really get it up in me to care to much about the characters in this story.

Fix her up – Tessa bailey

Rating: 2,5/5 stars

I have been in a mood for cozy romance books on and off this year and this was one I have heard some good things about. The reviews was kinda mixed, but I wanted to give it a chance anyway because it did sound so cute. I don’t have any specific problems with it more than it just fell flat for me and I had hope for more of this book.

A hunting at dixie house – M. L Bullock

First…this one has a SPOILER!

I have been a really big fan though out this series and was so happy when I found this as an audio book. But it was just not as the other once had been for me. Midas and Cassidy is suppose to be this new couple but Midas is just looking at other women. I also felt like this was in an childish tone that didn’t exist in the other books. I don’t think I will continue on with the series after this one, sadly.

Beautiful bastard – Christina Lauren

I adore Christa Lauren’s books. They are always very funny and adoring, and this one had some of that too.. It had some really great oneliners, but I sorta felt like I was reading a porno? So this was not a bad book, it was just not what I expected and it disappointed me.

Thank you so much for reading! Again, I did not mean to offend anyone and I hope we can all agree that we all have different opinions. I know many who do not like my favs and that is okay. Just like it is okay that I didn’t like this five books. If you did like them, I am happy for you!

Stay safe and read happily!!// A Home In Pages
