Hello dear readers! I thought I would do a quick little post today about the top five books I have read recently. If you follow my blog, you might have heard about this books before. But I hope you will find one or two gems in here.
Enjoy!

Nevernight and Godsgrave

Last month I read Nevernight and this month I continued with the second book in the series, Godsgrave. This books are unlike anything I have ever read before and just that is a very interesting thing for a reader. But that can also make it harder to read. And that was the case with Nevernight. It took about a hundred pages for be to get into the book, but then it was no turning back. It is so great, so many layers to the world and it’s characters. You can read about it here!

capturing the devil

This is the forth and last book in the Stalking Jack The Ripper series. A masterpiece, truly. One is always scared when a favorite series is ending. For a lot a reasons, but mainly because what if the ending isn’t satisfying? What if it isn’t all you want it to be? I shouldn’t have worried. It was satisfying. It was all I wanted it to be.

Crown of feathers

Who doesn’t love phoenixes? It was the flaming creatures that drew me in, but it turned out to be so much more. It is a story about sisterhood, friendship and love. Love for humans and love for own soul. I read this a couple of month ago and I still think about it to this day.

The family upstairs

I went in to this knowing only that it was a book many really liked and I wanted a fast thriller. A fast thriller I got. But it was more than a fast read. I love when it shows so many more layers than one thinks it have just at one glance. And the ending. I was at the edge of my seat the whole time.

Tunnel of bones

We all know my love for the books written by Victoria Schwab. Before I tell you all how much I love this I must say that I do not read middle grade, almost never. It’s not that middle grade are bad in any way, it is just not my cup of tea. But this one is just as amazing as her other books. It is cozy and fitting now in October. It also shows just how important friendships are and I love that it centers around that topic.
